Every row carries the sentence the board wrote and a link to the agenda or minutes it came from.

8,262 of last quarter’s 10,334 rows were scheduled items, on an agenda and not yet decided. An agenda is published days before its meeting; a decision reaches us a median of 30 days after one. The rows below are real and from last quarter’s file.

The useful moment for a hauler is the vote to solicit, months before an RFP reaches a bid board. From the last twelve months: 455 pre-award signals, 526 awards with term lengths, 370 renewals, across 57 states and provinces. The rows below were each verified against the raw agenda or minutes text.

Why it exists

Nobody can read eight thousand agendas.

Before the vote, not after the permit

Permit data and bid boards show you work that is already decided. The agenda line that precedes both is public, dated, and sitting in a PDF nobody indexes.

Small jurisdictions, not just metros

Last quarter’s heaviest states were Utah (1,336 rows), Texas (782), Massachusetts (555), Florida (509) and Wisconsin (421). A lot of that is counties, towns and villages that no metro-only feed reaches.

Every row links to the agenda or minutes it came from. If a row is wrong you can see it is wrong, and tell us, and we fix the reader rather than the row.

What this does not do

The limits, up front.

  • We do not give you the owner’s phone number. This is the decision record, not a contact database. Owner lookup is available in selected states as an add-on, and we will tell you plainly whether yours is one of them.
  • The land-use address column is roughly 70% right. 42% of rows carry a street address at all; of 40 hand-checked, 12 pointed somewhere wrong. We publish the evidence sentence beside the address so you can judge each one.
  • Waste stages are hints until you open the source. An extraction model reads the minutes; it occasionally calls a truck lease a solicitation. The rows on this page were verified by hand, the full sheet marks what was not.
  • Coverage is not uniform and not complete. 8,276 governments tracked, 6,595 re-read in a given week, 2,691 produced a land-use row last quarter. If your county is not covered we will say so before you pay.
  • “Scheduled” is not “approved”, and “preparing to bid” is not an open RFP. Every row is labelled with which it is.
